As exciting as dye-sensitized solar cell technology is, its potential will not be fully realized until it is brought to the masses. We have to put our money where our mouth is.
This means moving beyond laboratory
research towards commercialization of our technology.
We believe that the time is right, so we are
working on our most ambitious and exciting
project – setting up a pilot production plant right in Stockholm that will be operationally ready by the end of 2012.

Buildings account for 40% of global energy consumption and 24% of the world’s
greenhouse gases. This is a compelling reason
to make buildings more energy efficient. At
NLAB Solar, we are working with the smartest
people to address this problem. We have
established a consortium of experts to work on the collective vision of zero net energy
buildings, or buildings which produce as much energy as they consume. This can be achieved through solar energy.
